Looking back at Kason and Emma’s Pasco, Washington Western engagement session feels like it happened ages ago. Because as I write this, I delivered their wedding gallery not too long ago. And yes, be sure to stay tuned for their western wedding day coming to the blog (soon). It’s been such an honor to watch these high school sweethearts grow before my very eyes.Â

I always love when a couple really highlights their personalities, especially during a session as important as engagement photos. Back in the day, Kason and Emma met at 4-H camp. Both avid agriculture enthusiasts, they fell in love and the rest is history. When it came to their engagement session, we headed out to their farm to take in the beauty of rural Washington. We were lucky with the most beautiful weather. Blue skies, a light breeze, and the most beautiful golden hour.
One of my favorite parts of their engagement session was their outfits. The first outfit was their “classy” option. Emma wore a burnt orange sweater dress, black over-the-knee boots, and a black wide-brimmed hat. Kason opted for the classic farmer ‘fit; his oversized belt buckle was my favorite! Their third outfit was definitely the show stopper though. They both really delved into the Western-vibes; Aztec-printed jackets, blue jeans, cowboy boots, and of course cowboy hats!Â
Photographing Kason and Emma’s Pasco, Washington Western engagement session was such a joy. But an even bigger one was getting to witness two people so deeply in love. I can’t wait to share their Pasco, Washington Western wedding day, but until then… be sure to catch up on the past blogs. And be sure to follow along over on the ‘Gram (@sarareneephoto) to make sure you’re in the know with where I’ve been over the past year. Spoiler alert: I had a baby! 😉
Until next time,
